A new color palette for Christmas

Last Christmas my walls were a shade of beige, lets say a darker beige, okay brown. I've been in the process of renovating our home and I finally painted the living room just before I decorated for Christmas two weeks ago.

The two paint colors I chose (to see which I like better) were Sherwin Williams Shoji White and Westhighland White. I like both colors. I've painted both my bathrooms in the Westhighland White but I think I'm going to use the Shoji White for the living room.

I will be adding a board and batten grid detail on the fireplace wall later to add visual interest and because I love the classic detail.
